The seeds are planted.

Planting a cover crop for the winter gives us an opportunity to be in the garden all year long.  The two seed types we planted will help maintain the nutrients in the soil, also.

After getting out the plants and weeds from summer, we raked and raked to loosen the soil.
Then we planted the seeds.  The two seeds were different sizes and shapes.
Next we covered the seeds with straw.  The straw will act as a blanket to keep the seeds warm and moist until they sprout.
